How to delete IE 6?

You can delete IE6, but if you downloaded IE7 already, it should have upgraded and replaced IE6. Goto ---%26gt; My Computer / Local C: Drive (or main local drive) / Program Files. You should see a folder in there labled Internet Explorer. Open it and see which version it is (right click on the file with the "e" symbol and select properties on the menue - version tab) If there is only one version and it's IE6, than close the folder and and delete it or shred it. If you're not sure if there's 1 or both versions there, I would suggest installing another browser like Mozilla FireFox first to make sure you have a browser, then delete all versions of IE the way I mentioned, and then use FireFox to re-install IE7 again - then delete the FireFox browser, leaving you with only IE7. I'm curious as to wether you're worried about memory or actual disk space. You'd really have to have a LOT of stuff stored on your PC to worry about hard disk space and memory is only used when a program, application, or file is actually opened. If your sestem is running slow, it's probably a different problem unrelated to disk space, but you know your PC better than I. Anyhow, good luck.

You cannot delete IE 6 because IE7 is an update of IE6. And even if you could, I would not suggest it. Try to find other programs that you do not need and/or use often and get rid og them.
