what the heck? what i mean is, after i asked them not to show me how to use tabbed browsing, when i open a new page (or tab), it just says: "about: blank", and there is nothing there! i reset my home page again in control panel, but still it opens a blank page. what can i do?

In the upper menu, click on "Tools." Then choose "Internet Options." In the "Home Page" area under the "General" tab, type in a list of home pages that you want. Then click the OK button at the bottom. This should save your home pages.
