That is why I go to the "manage bookmarks %26gt;export" and then mail the bookmark file to my dozens of email addresses at Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.
If you haven't saved or closed the system, they might be there, but, as time goes on, they will get written over. I use http://pclinuxos.com to view and save 'deleted' files on a drive.
It boots in the CDrom, and so, the hard drive doesn't get written! Then, I can view and copy off, files I have restored!
Had To reinstall IE and Firefox and lost all my bookmarks any way of getting them back?windows mobile 6
In most cases they are still there.
Go into your Profile, Look for a Star shape, usually Golden, or something that says FAVORITES, and that is usually your FAVES. Back those up before doing anything. Once you can see if they are the links that you want then try and import of those files into your browser

I had the same problem before , and had to remember all 200 websites and go to them ,and add to favorites , but then I found out before you reload mozzilla ,or IE you have to export them to a web based email like Yahoo , or to an external hardrive , then once you re-installed the browser , you import them back ., now you know for the next time .
